On what might have been the couple's 24th wedding anniversary, Iman shared a photograph with David Bowie. The artist passed away in January after a 18-month battle with cancer. For her first commemoration without her better half, Iman posted a black and white photo of the model and artist shot by Bruce Weber for Vogue, the picture reads, "The best thing about me is you."
The pair got married in 1992 (first in a private common service in April in Switzerland) in the wake of meeting on an introductory outing two years prior. The official pre-marriage ceremony were held in Italy, keeping in mind they are known for their daring fashion choices both kept things exemplary to say, "I do."
