Real Madrid – The Galacticos conquers Diego Simeone’s men for the eleventh time for the Champions League medal.



The UEFA champions league final match ended with a penalty shoot out between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. After 120 minutes of activity finished in a 1-1 draw, Atletico's Juanfran was the sad man to miss, permitting Cristiano Ronaldo to hit home the definitive spot kick as Real won 5-3 on penalties.



Atletico emerged ready to take care of business after the break, yet Antoine Griezmann slammed a penalty against the crossbar as the Rojiblancos looked set to tumble to another agonizing defeat against their city rivals in club football's greatest fixture. Atletico hearts were broken again with Ronaldo's shirtless festivals and tears from Atletico fans bringing back recollections from the defeat in Lisbon.

Real verged on taking an early lead when Bale fired in a free kick that was turned toward goal by Karim Benzema a couple of yards out, however Jan Oblak made a pivotal save with his legs.


The leap forward arrived in the 15th minute, however, with Toni Kroos' free kick flicked on by Bale before Ramos nudged his exertion under Oblak from short proximity.
